Job Description:
Administrative Assistant LHH is collaborating with a company in the precision machining and welding industry to find a reliable and highly organized Administrative Assistant. This position centers on managing driver and vehicle documentation, supporting DOT compliance efforts, and keeping both digital and physical records well-structured. It's a great fit for someone who is detail-driven, self-sufficient, and comfortable working in a structured office setting.
Location:
Annapolis, MD Schedule:
Onsite, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Pay Range:
$19-$23/hour Primary Responsibilities Manage and update employee certifications, including DOT, flagger, and other required credentials Monitor and maintain vehicle and equipment documentation to ensure compliance with DOT standards Keep accurate records of driver files and DOT cards Generate reports and maintain organized filing systems (both electronic and paper) Handle incoming phone calls and route them appropriately Provide general administrative support to the office team as needed Qualifications Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills Clear and professional written and verbal communication Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Previous administrative experience is a plus Work Environment Fully onsite position with private office space Limited day-to-day interaction required Street parking available Office setting is monitored for security and compliance Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
