- 22 /hour (all inclusive) At Orchard Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center , we believe that accurate communication, organized documentation, and efficient coordination are essential to supporting high-quality resident care.
Unit Clerk:
Perform clerical and administrative duties to support nursing unit operations and clinical staff. Maintain accurate and organized resident records, charts, and documentation in accordance with facility procedures. Assist with communication between nursing staff, physicians, families, and other departments. Manage phone calls, messages, and correspondence promptly and professionally. Support scheduling, documentation tracking, and general unit organization as needed. Ensure supplies, forms, and office materials are maintained and readily available for unit use. Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility information in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies. Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient workflow within the nursing unit. Qualifications forUnit Clerk:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of one (1) year of related experience as a Unit Clerk and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently. Must demonstrate patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly population.
