August 3, 2026 Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively with staff, and students and promote positive human relations with the community Ability to effectively prioritize long-term projects and daily responsibilities Excellent attendance record Strong organizational skills, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in the use of software such as PowerSchool, Frontline, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite Must maintain accurate budget and office records Capacity to cope with widely varying job assignments, ranging from basic and repetitious to complex. Flexibility and adjustment of daily schedules are a must Must possess the ability to work well under pressure with accuracy and minimum supervision Commitment to maintaining confidentially specific to all student/school-related matters Secretarial experience preferred College or university coursework preferred Major Responsibilities Process purchase orders and other purchase requests Manage daily coverage of classroom staffing with guest teachers Work as a team member with administration, support staff, and central office Prepare bi-weekly payroll reports and reconcile hourly staff absences in Frontline Assist with entry and securing substitutes for teachers and paraprofessionals in Frontline Maintain accurate, confidential, personnel, payroll, and office records Prepare reports and publications and provide support for the early learning program Prepare correspondence for communications to parents and families Assist with the enrollment process Assist with updating the school website and e-news to parents Maintain the building calendar for emergency drills and staff events Support state reporting such as pupil accounting and licensing Administer medication and first aid to students as necessary
