The Assistant reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Eton is committed to the education of students who learn differently. Eton helps build essential skills and confidence that foster lifelong success. The Advancement Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative, operational, and data management support to the Advancement Department. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the school's constituent and donor databases, supporting fundraising and donor stewardship activities, tracking key performance metrics, and assisting with the successful execution of advancement initiatives and school-wide events. Working collaboratively with members of the Advancement Team, the Advancement Administrative Assistant oversees donor and constituent records, processes gifts and acknowledgments, prepares reports and dashboards, coordinates administrative functions, and supports projects that advance Eton Academy's mission, enrollment goals, fundraising efforts, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure that systems, processes, and projects run smoothly and efficiently. They possess a strong aptitude for data management and analysis, understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality, and are committed to maintaining high standards of operational excellence. Successful candidates will be proactive problem-solvers who take initiative to support the goals of the Advancement Team. The Ideal Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred At least 3 years of experience in administrative support, data management, advancement operations, or a related field Experience working with CRM/database systems, reporting tools, Blackbaud, Raiser's Edge, and Google Workspace Experience in an independent school, nonprofit, fundraising, admissions, or advancement environment preferred Proven track record in providing superb oral and written communication skills, exceptional strategic and administrative abilities, as well as excellent planning and organizational development skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and project management skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Analytical thinking and a commitment to data-informed decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative, service-oriented approach to supporting colleagues and stakeholders. Initiative, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new challenges. Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information.
