Part-Time Administrative Assistant
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma High level of computer skills desired, such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint PowerSchool Absence Management System Google Apps Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desire to be a team player Ability to work well with students, staff & parents Excellent organizational skills Experience in a school office environment
POSITION SUMMARY
Answer telephones Accurately monitor, record, and maintain student attendance records daily Assist parents/students/staff as needed Assist office by performing various duties such as word processing, telephone, and filing Other duties as assigned to aid in smooth operation of the department Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with parents, students, and staff This position requires regular and reliable in-person attendance
HOURS :
Expected to work the school year calendar at 29 hours per week. Must be able to work 2 weeks prior to school starting and 1 week after school is dismissed.
