Administrative Assistant (Temp-to-Hire) Downtown Detroit, MI - Full-time, in-office Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM The Opportunity A fast-paced and highly professional organization is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support executive leadership in a dynamic corporate environment. This role will report directly to the Chief of Staff while also providing high-level support to the company President. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in an environment that requires discretion, adaptability, and strong critical thinking skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Assistant looking to grow into an Executive Assistant career path. Key Responsibilities Manage complex and frequently changing executive calendars Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones Prepare meeting agendas, briefing documents, and presentation materials Arrange comprehensive domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, transportation, visas, and itineraries Monitor travel schedules and proactively resolve delays or scheduling conflicts Track expenses and assist with reimbursement processing Draft, proofread, and edit professional correspondence, reports, and presentations Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems Assist with special projects, event coordination, and day-to-day administrative support Handle personal errands and executive support tasks as needed Required Qualifications 3-5 years of Administrative Assistant or related experience Experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced corporate environment Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proven experience managing executive calendars and coordinating travel arrangements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks with minimal supervision Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills Proactive mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Resilient personality with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting C-level executives or leadership teams Familiarity with travel booking and expense management platforms Experience coordinating international travel logistics Strong judgment and ability to anticipate executive needs Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is polished, resourceful, and highly dependable.
