Job Description

POSITION TITLE
Authorizations/Contract Services Coordinator
LOCATION
Delta or Marquette County (To be determined with successful applicant)
POSITION STATUS
40 hours weekly / Regular Full-time / Nonexempt / Nonunion
SALARY RANGE
$18.47/hour to $24.01/hour Plus full-time benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position coordinates the processing/completion of all responsibilities of the Authorization Department to include processing authorizations, providing support services related to authorization of services, contract provider documentation, and reimbursement and service data. This position will also provide administrative support as assigned, including performing a variety of clerical task such as filing, answering the phone, assisting in the preparation of necessary documentation as requested, typing/data entry, and other administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Minimum of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required with one year of experience in general office duties. Preference given to those with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of one year of experience in related field such as knowledge of Medicaid services and documentation standards, knowledge of relevant laws, rules and regulations.
