Able to interact and communicate effectively and courteously with a wide variety of people. Show evidence of strong technological skills as it pertains to word processing, spreadsheets, and software utilized by the District. Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality regarding student, staff, community, and Board of Education matters. Capable of handling difficult situations that arise in a calm, professional, and respectful manner. Possess excellent communication skills in writing and speaking, including the ability to compose memorandums/letters. Demonstrate evidence of initiative and flexibility in performing job responsibilities. Ability to work independently and manage projects without direct supervision. Punctuality and excellent attendance are requirements for this position.
Duties:
Responsible for the EEM state report for clock hour submission. Maintain budgets for designated grants the Assistant Superintendent oversees. Create Purchase Orders Maintain all district conference request forms Work with the GISD to maintain all district email accounts. Maintain the district's Sonitrol security account and access cards. Maintain Safe Schools and Stormwater training records for district. Process ICHAT forms. Serve as the districts Navigator within the EduStaff/Frontline substitute teacher system.
Mentor/Mentee:
Memos, meetings, attendance, log sheets. District GISD Spelling Bee contact. Create and post all district job postings. District's professional development point of contact. All other duties as requested by Superintendent.
