Action Job Description:
Donation Processing Coordinator The Warehouse Assistant works as a member of the Love in Action team, side-by-side with other staff members, to serve volunteers, clients, and donors. This individual will demonstrate a love for Christ exemplified by grace and flexibility in compassion for clients, encouragement and training for volunteers, and thankful connection and information for donors. Important characteristics include sound judgment, good listening skills, patience, understanding, compassion and discernment at all times. This position reports to both the Storehouse Manager and Storehouse Director.- Assists the Manager and Director in all ministry areas related to Storehouse operations (Donation Processing, Transportation, Food Procurement, etc.
- Assist the Manager and Director with processes and procedures regarding food ministry, Co-op, and Backpack Blessing supplies, including: o Pantry restocking o Walk-in stocking and cleaning o Food transportation
- Assist the Manager and Director in management of all supplies, the ordering process, and distribution for all Love in Action locations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communications with in-kind donors.

- Ability to work with diverse array of volunteers and staff providing encouragement, feedback and training

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop and follow systems and processes for material processing.
- Ability to operate Love in Action vehicles and lift truck including possession of a valid Michigan driver's license and lift truck license
- Ability to physically move donated materials, up to 50 lbs.
