Job Description

Position Summary The Front Office Coordinator plays a critical role in creating a professional and welcoming experience for all guests, clients, and candidates. This position serves as the first point of contact for the office while supporting daily operations through accurate data entry, inbound call management, and social media/job posting activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced staffing environment. Key Responsibilities Front Office & Customer Experience Greet and assist all walk-in candidates, clients, and visitors Provide a professional, friendly, and efficient first impression of Express Detroit Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment Phone & Communication Management Answer and route inbound calls to appropriate team members Respond to general inquiries about services, job openings, and office operations Take detailed messages and ensure timely follow-up Data Entry & Administrative Support Accurately enter candidate and client information into internal systems Maintain and update databases, records, and applicant tracking systems Assist with onboarding paperwork and document management Social Media & Job Posting Post and manage job ads across job boards and social media platforms Support social media activity (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to promote openings and brand presence Assist in creating basic content for recruiting campaigns and local outreach Qualifications 1-3 years of administrative, front desk, or customer service experience Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in staffing, recruiting, or HR environments Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) Basic understanding of social media marketing or job board platforms What We Offer Opportunity to grow within a leading staffing organization in Southeast Michigan Hands-on experience across recruiting, operations, and marketing Team-oriented, fast-paced environment with strong leadership support Why Express Detroit At Express Detroit, we pride ourselves on delivering market-leading talent through a hands-on, in-person recruiting process.
