Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare setting as a vital member of the Imaging department, utilizing your expertise as a Radiology Tech/X-ray Technologist. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience with advanced imaging procedures in a high-acuity environment, supporting a diverse patient population.
Schedule:
11:00 am - 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday (no weekends required with this shift) 1:00 pm - 11:30 pm, every other weekend (for the second shift)
Qualifications:
Certified by ARRT, with a valid BLS certification Demonstrated experience in a level 1 or level 2 trauma center Prior experience assisting in the Operating Room required Familiarity with orthopedic, neuro, and vascular surgical procedures strongly preferred Proficiency in producing high-quality diagnostic images while delivering excellent patient care Strong collaborative and communication skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
Responsibilities:
Perform radiographic exams and procedures, including intraoperative imaging during complex surgical cases Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes in the OR Operate and maintain X-ray and digital imaging equipment, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols Accurately document procedures and patient records according to department standards Prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple requests in a trauma setting Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals undergoing emergency and scheduled imaging This contract role is perfect for a detail-oriented radiologic technologist passionate about contributing in trauma and surgical environments.
