Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Personnel World is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Field Assistant for a respected client in Ludington, MI. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, clerical, and customer service skills who enjoys working in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while providing outstanding support to staff, members, and the public. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support to professional staff and management. Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic and paper filing systems. Prepare, type, copy, collate, and distribute correspondence, agendas, meeting materials, and reports. Answer phones, greet visitors, schedule appointments, and maintain calendars. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail. Order and maintain office supplies and inventory. Assist with meeting preparation, including room setup and refreshments. Process financial records, perform basic calculations, maintain petty cash, and assist with cost evaluations. Update and maintain membership records using an electronic membership database. Complete additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative, office, or clerical experience preferred. Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Google Sheets experience is also acceptable). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism when interacting with the public, staff, and members.
