INTERIM EDUCATION SERVICES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
NON-UNION, At-Will 12-month PositionPOSITION SUMMARY
Education Services Administrative Assistant to the Director of Education Services. The position will provide administrative support while performing a variety of clerical functions on an interim basis. This position reports to the Associate Director of Education Services.QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree preferred high school diploma required, with clerical training and at least five years of experience. Previous successful office experience in a highly responsive support staff role, work experience in education preferred. Able to type 60 wpm. Excellent technical skills in all areas ofGoogle:
Google forms, docs, slides, and sheets Excellent technical skills in all Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of other publishing applications including the Adobe Suite desired. Experience and expertise maintaining and monitoring budgets; experience with BiTech preferred. Ability to maintain professional and confidential business/office standards. Strong interpersonal skills essential for effective communication with RESA staff, local school district staff, parents, and students. Ability to create, punctuate, and edit written materials with proper business grammar.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain proficiency in all areas of Google and Microsoft Office. Manage several budgets, including budget amendments and budget management. Manage grant budgets, including work in MEG+, grant payments, ordering, record keeping, and reporting. Manage, direct and supervise support staff, including scheduling of tasks, hours, vacations as well as hiring and evaluating. Develop and maintain strong lines of verbal and written communication with directors, RESA staff, local school district staff, parents, and students. Maintain a high level of customer service to all district leaders, as well as ensure parent, student and staff satisfaction. Possess strong organizational skills. Be able to organize and manage several calendars. Manage and coordinate several projects concurrently, effectively prioritizing and initiating tasks.
