Job Description

We are looking for an organized and dependable Office Assistant to join our team in Okemos, Michigan. This Contract to potential long-term position offers the opportunity to support a legal office during a maternity leave and possibly transition into an ongoing role. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
  • Perform general office tasks such as copying, faxing, scanning, and printing envelopes or letterhead.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of office areas and personal workspace.
  • Ensure trash is emptied and light facilities-related tasks are completed as needed.
  • Take initiative to handle additional duties and identify ways to assist the team.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
