Administrative Assistant

Opportunity:

Michigan Financial Companies is currently looking for a part-time administrative assistant (30-35 hours) to work directly with a financial advisor. This position will be working out of the Southfield, MI area.

Objective:

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Financial Planners in their day-to-day operations. Working knowledge of a PC computer is a must.

Reports to:

Financial Advisor Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Answer and make phone calls Organize and schedule appointments Assist with marketing communications Maintain compliant files Update electronic filing system Submit account paperwork Follow-up on submitted paperwork Update Client Relationship Management system

Required Qualifications:

Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize Must be technology savvy Dedicated to customer service Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to learn other software programs Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience dealing with clients Experience with a Client Relationship Management tool Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Experience in the financial services industry

Pay:

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
