Job Description

The function of the Designated Coordinator Assistant is to provide direct support to the individuals receiving services at the Rice County Activity Center. Our Life Enrichment program has split into 2 programs and we are in need of additional staff members. These staff members will be helping with feeding/lunch set up, medication passing when needed training to be provided, restroom/changing room support, and loading and unloading of the bus routes. The Coordinator Assistant will assist with different work activities and crafting projects. They will provide guidance and instructions to our individuals receiving services. Our Coordinators will provide person centered services for all individuals served at the center. Our Coordinators will interact and engage the individuals through out their day at the center. The Coordinator Assistant will demonstrate the ability to use communication skills, be organized and be flexible. Other duties as assigned. Experience in the DD field desirable but not required. All training will be provided Must be 18 years of age or older due to working with Vulnerable Adults Monday through Friday 7am to 2pm, no weekends or major holidays.
