MN, United States | Civil Group Administrative Assistant SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to handle a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your extraordinary customer service abilities will ensure every customer has a superb experience when they are at Mortenson facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform regular administrative tasks and overall office organization, greet visitors and customers with a positive demeanor, coordinate and set up meetings, handle calendars, and schedule travel Set up, organize, and manage filing systems, prepare documents, perform record keeping and filing duties, and proofread communications and documents carefully Prepare billing/invoices as needed, coordinate between numerous support groups (Safety, Human Resources, IT, Legal), and procure miscellaneous goods using Mortenson's internal procurement system Understand the operating group and company resources and assist Operating Group Leadership members with miscellaneous duties such as expense reports and travel Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred Minimum three years administrative support experience required Detail orientation and the capability to proofread effectively Demonstrate flexibility as well as excellent organization and multi-tasking skills Display proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Exhibit effective communication and active listening skills Positive professional attitude and strong customer service skills Construction-related business experience preferred Experience with billing, invoicing, and timekeeping preferred A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program
  • The base pay range for this role is $28.51 MIN
  • $38.46MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL
  • 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR
  • 10%, Washington, D.C.
  • 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
