He /She is responsible for making sure all participants' needs are met and run effectively. He /She is responsible for all clerical assignments, picking up and drop off participants, and working directly with participants to direct them with games and activities on the floor. Assistant Program Administrator Bilingual Hmong Responsibilities /
Duties:
I. Administrative Duties on behalf of participants: 1. Apply and follow through for public housing, section 8 housing, senior living apartments, and affordable housing for participants /seniors. 2. Apply and follow through to make sure seniors / participants received Energy Assistance, SNAP, Medical Assistance, and other government programs. 3. Complete and update red blinders as needed. 4. Write care plans for participants. 5. Call pharmacies for a list of medications and refill medications for participants as needed. 6. Help plan daycare activities and find outside resources to help participants. II.
On the floor:
1. Make sure all participants' needs are addressed, work directly with games and activities with all participants. 2. Assist kitchen Staff as needed. III.
Other Duties:
1. Pick up and drop off participants with a van or 12-15 passengers' van. 2. As needed schedule doctor appointments for participants, take participants to the doctor appointment and if needed translate for participants. 3. Complete and follow through with all job's assignment by the director, and operation director. 4. Record game tickets give to the participants at the end of the day. 5. Help with vital signs when the nurse comes to visit the daycare. IV. During working hours, the following things are prohibited: 1. You can't watch or listen to YouTube videos or Facebook during working hours. 2. You can't listen or have your headphones on during working hours. 3. You can't talk on the phone unless it's related to your job duties or emergencies. V. Qualifications & requirements for position: 1. Must have 1 year or more office skills or experience. 2. Valid driver's license and have own transportation. 3. Must be able to read and have strong writing skills. 4. Must have a high school diploma or higher. 5. Able to speak Hmong fluently. 6. Must be able to pass criminal background check. 7. Have knowledge of social/health services and/or willingness to learn. 8. Must have a good attitude, good communication skills and be patient with seniors. 9. Willingness to learn and have a positive attitude. VI.
