Our mission is to provide holistic and accessible mental health care to support our clients' overall well-being. Job description We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our mental health clinic in Northfield, providing crucial support at the front desk. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for clients while efficiently managing administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include the following:
Greet and assist clients in a friendly and empathetic manner Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth clinic operations Handle billing and insurance-related paperwork and collect co-pays and balances Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable reception area
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a significant amount of the job is communicating with our professionals. Sensitivity and understanding of mental health issues Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office, Google Workplace, and EHR systems Experience verifying behavioral health insurance benefits and navigating payer portals, with knowledge of Minnesota insurance plans and authorization/eligibility processes preferred. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Experience in a medical or behavioral health setting is preferred. Salary varies based on training and experience.

24 per week -
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursdays Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
