Job Description

The Oral Surgery Center has been serving the Twin Cities and St. Croix Valley for forty years. We are proud to be a doctor-owned practice, which we feel positively impacts our decision-making process, the people who work here, and in turn, optimizes patient care. We have six locations in MN and WI, and we are growing. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This is a full-time (36 hours/week) position, working in our Woodbury and Stillwater, MN offices. Our office hours are 7:30 to 4:30, Monday - Thursday, and 7:30 to 4:00 on Fridays. The Business Assistant is responsible for managing the daily flow of the office, while focusing on patient customer service and communication. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in person and by phone with professionalism and care Process patient check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate and complete information Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, submit claims, and handle patient billing questions Conduct patient financial consultations Collect payments and post charges accurately Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA Qualifications Previous experience in a dental or oral surgery office is preferred but not required Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability Competent in Microsoft Office, and efficient in email and internet applications Demonstrated problem solving and people skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment If you enjoy helping people and want to be part of a caring, professional team, we'd love to hear from you.
