Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and personable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This paid position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our office operations, supporting both administrative functions and patient relations. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere at all times. Manage multi-line phone system efficiently, directing calls and taking accurate messages as needed. Schedule appointments and coordinate calendar management. Maintain patient records through precise data entry, filing, and updating of information in compliance with privacy regulations. Handle clerical tasks including proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and organizing office supplies. Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic office management duties using QuickBooks or similar software. Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring patient needs are met with professionalism. Qualifications Prior experience working at a front desk in a dental or medical office is highly desirable. Proficiency with computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a sometimes fast-paced environment. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Knowledge of office management procedures, clerical practices, and basic bookkeeping is preferred. Experience with medical or dental receptionist duties, including calendar management and patient support, is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining accuracy in documentation.
