Office Assistant St Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church Gladstone Gladstone, MO Job Details Part-time 16 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description St. Andrew Catholic Church is seeking a part time Office Assistant who will be responsible for providing secretarial and related office services for the parish and school. This position will average 15- 20 hours per week. Up to 8 hours can be from home.
Essential Duties:
Database management for parish and school Manage and process bulk mailings Manage website and social media, including YouTube livestream for masses Cover front office, which includes answering phones, greeting visitors, making copies and other basic office duties Create documents for handouts, Mass aids, and other parish needs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Handle records and sensitive issues with confidentiality, empathy, and compassion. Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy. Work independently with confidence. Strong organizational skills. Manage filing systems and ensure proper record-keeping
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent. Prefer 3 or more years' experience in a professional setting. Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva or other similar software platforms. Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
