Job Description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Job Summary Furthers the mission, vision of both St Peter and St Charles Borromeo parishes by working in conjunction with the Pastor, Parish and School office, Parish ministers and employees to coordinate Liturgical events and schedules and to assist the Pastoral Associate and office staff with various projects.

Job Responsibilities
  • Scheduling of weddings, rehearsals, and other Liturgical events on campus.
  • Create and manage contracts for weddings.
  • Manage schedule for Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and others for liturgical events.
  • Produce universal prayers and pulpit announcements
  • Assist parish office staffs as needed
  • Assist Pastoral Associate as requested
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
  • As a representative of our Parish, projects professional and appropriate appearance, attitude and demeanorJob Requirements
  • Experience working in parish office or parish ministries
  • Experience in scheduling events and workers
  • Knowledge of and proven experience working with various IT programs
  • Ability to learn proprietary software
  • General knowledge and support of the Catholic Church, Catholic sacraments, Catholic rites and liturgies preferred Skills & Attitudes Required for Success in Job
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and balance several projects at one time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have good interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must have ability to perform outlined tasks with minimum supervision and be self-motivated
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, climb stairs and walk around campus and between buildings
  • Must have own transportation, valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Must complete "Protecting God's Children" course and pass background checkThe Archdiocese of St.
