Job Description

Triumph Foods, LLC (Triumph) is a leader in the Pork Industry, and is recognized as a top exporter of premium pork products worldwide. The Company began operations in 2006, in Saint Joseph, MO, and is producer owned. Triumph's state-of-the-art facility processes in excess of 6 million hogs each year, and features the latest food quality, safety innovations, and humane handling practices in the industry. The Company prides itself on producing the highest quality pork products found in the market today. 1. Overall responsibility for the livestock office daily operations, data entry, filing and retrieval of records, telephone support and reporting.2. Establishing and maintaining a document and record filing system.3. Greet and receive livestock customers (internal and external) including truck drivers.4. Support USDA inspector requirements and handle retain completed records. Complete other designated task and activities as assigned by the Procurement Clerk Supervisor.

Essential Function and Job ResponsibilitiesActivities related to Office Operations
  • Assist in developing office procedures for paper flow, document sequence, record retention, file storage space and record retrieval. 
  • Develop the paper record's file folders and naming convention
  • Be the primary receptionist, telephone responder for the livestock barn and maintain a professional office presence. This will include receiving, recording and posting messages. 
  • Maintain pre-printed forms inventory and schedule re-printing orders. 
  • Postal mailing support for distribution of pre-printed forms, producer reports, and other request for information using email.
  • Assist in preparing reports for Triumph Management, USDA, AMS end external audits.
Activities related to HPE (Hog Procurement & Evaluation) Data Entry
  • Learn and become proficient with the HPE system to support the duties of the Procurement Clerk Supervisor.
  • Support Procurement Clerk Supervisor's data entry requirements for truck load schedules, hog movement, head count verification and daily summaries.
  • Update HPE computer schedules, data files and screens as trained in support or Procurement Clerk Supervisor. 
  • Support daily activities in the absence of the Procurement Clerk Supervisor.
Other Required Tasks and Activities
  • Maintain office and office facilities in a clean and usable state, daily.
  • Supervise the printing of forms and issuing documents for use in the livestock barn.
  • Coordinate and gather request for supplies, equipment and safety items in the livestock area from Livestock Receiving Coordinators and Livestock Trainers.
  • Participate in a work schedule which may require Saturdays and daily overtime as directed by the Procurement Clerk Supervisor. 
  • Complete other tasks as directed by the Procurement Clerk Supervisor.
 EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
 High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Three to five years data entry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Four year degree preferred.

Must be able to climb ladders and platforms, and enter confined spaces and wear all safety equipment. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds or more.
