This travel opportunity is ideal for emergency nurses eager to broaden their professional scope. Working in Springfield's busy, urban trauma setting, you'll gain invaluable exposure to advanced clinical practices in a Level I Trauma Center, noted for its excellence in stroke and STEMI care, as well as its designation as a regional burn center. Collaborate daily with respected multidisciplinary teams and learn from accomplished clinical leaders in a hospital recognized for patient safety and innovation.
Schedule/Hours:
Night Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 13-week assignment Weekend hours as needed No block scheduling accommodated
Qualifications:
Current RN license eligible for Missouri
BLS, ACLS, PALS
(AHA only), TNCC; NIHSS (can obtain prior to start)
Minimum:
1 year in Level 1 ED or 2 years in Level 2 Trauma ED Strong, decisive, and flexible approach High acuity/trauma/peds experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care using the nursing process for all age groups Coordinate with ancillary departments for comprehensive care Maintain high standards in clinical excellence, patient rights, and confidentiality Orient on day shift initially; function within key hospital and state guidelines
