Responsibilities Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. Initiates Purchase Requests from Managers and employees, researches pricing and vendor applicability, follows up with purchasing to ensure orders are received. Keeps record of service and maintenance calls and work orders. Maintains files on all specific, standing work orders and related information and documents. Filing of all permits and licenses, negotiating and obtaining bids, reviewing contracts for projects to be submitted to the Director of Facilities for approval. Coordinates office activities including scheduling appointments, delegating work, providing information to callers, taking notes, and otherwise relieving the Department Head of clerical administrative and business related details. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations. Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience. Some knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices. Some knowledge of building maintenance needs and service requirements. Ability to analyze situations promptly and to determine proper course of action. Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals. Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and inventory skills preferred. Some knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment of the building trades. Display strong work ethic and teamwork.
