Who We Are NMPHC is a federally qualified health center that serves local communities with accessible and affordable health care for all! What You'll Do The Front Office role keeps the clinic running smoothly by handling patient-facing administrative work with accuracy and professionalism.
Key responsibilities:
Register patients and maintain complete, correct demographic information Schedule appointments and manage changes while supporting clinic flow Provide clear, respectful customer service in person and by phone Enter data accurately and protect patient privacy Required qualifications/skills: High school diploma or equivalent Customer service experience (healthcare experience preferred) Basic computer skills with strong data-entry accuracy Strong communication and organization
Preferred:
FQHC experience EHR experience Insurance verification and scheduling knowledge Apply if you're ready to support patient access and keep front-desk operations on track. Your Typical Shift You'll work onsite in Booneville, MS on a full-time Monday-Friday schedule (8:30am-5:00pm). Your day is steady and patient-focused, supporting daily clinic operations in line with NMPHC's mission and Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) standards. Expect frequent interaction with patients, quick handoffs with clinical staff, and a consistent need to stay organized as the lobby and phone traffic change throughout the day. You'll help keep information moving so care stays coordinated and the clinic workflow stays efficient from open to close.
