Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Initiates and performs various secretarial and administrative duties. May provide specialized technical assistance in addition to administrative services. Performs under the general direction of a department manager. Organize and maintain C5ISR SharePoint Folders Submit and follow up on visitor security requests Coordinate and schedule C5ISR meetings Prepare and format agendas Maintain meeting attendee lists Take notes; prepare and distribute meeting minutes Assist with tracking action items When necessary for customer meetings, coordinate meals, and refreshments and book conference rooms Assist C5ISR Engineering Manager with preparation of briefing materials and weekly/monthly reports Assist with special projects and events Coordinate travel arrangements for C5ISR personnel when requested PIF specific duties Receptionist duties and assist assigned guard with visitor tracking/logs Escort visitors when necessary Maintain office supplies and schedule office equipment/facility maintenance Coordinate with facilities to ensure cleaning crews have access and complete their duties
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Good to considerable knowledge of practices and procedures of the department, unit or division served. Ability to gather, analyze, interpret and apply data to perform special assignments. Ability to maintain information accurately and confidentially. Ability to operate office equipment accurately and efficiently. Able to perform effectively as a member of a team; to communicate effectively and maintain good working relationships. Must be eligible for US Government security clearance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING
Two years of college level course work in office management, business administration or a related field. 1+ year experience in a secretarial or administrative assistant capacity; or any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
