RIDGELAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Part-Time Temporary Administrative Assistant Position The Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of the Chamber of Commerce by providing administrative, organizational, and customer service support to staff, members, and community partners. This position helps maintain office efficiency, coordinates communications and events, manages records, and serves as a professional first point of contact for members and visitors. Key Responsibilities Answer phones, emails, and general inquiries in a professional and timely manner Greet members and visitors Maintain member databases, records, and filing systems Assist with membership applications, renewals, invoicing, and payments Coordinate meeting schedules, calendars, and appointments Prepare reports, agendas, and meeting materials Support Chamber events, networking functions, and community programs Assist with social media posts, newsletters, and member communications Order office supplies and maintain office organization Provide administrative support to the Chamber staff Help maintain confidentiality of organizational and member information Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask Proficient in
