Position Summary SMART Local 103 is hiring a detail-oriented, customer-focused Office Clerk to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can accuratly reprioritize task execution without oversight. You'll be the face of our office —managing front-desk operations, supporting our leadership team, and helping us manage a complex and growing organization, every single day. We're looking for self-motivated problem solvers with excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. What You'll Do Customer & Front-Desk Support Answer and transfer phone calls professionally; greet members and guests warmly Manage incoming and outgoing mail and shipments Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming office environment Track and maintain office supplies and inventory Administrative & Data Entry Enter and manage data across multiple computer programs Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and speed Create and distribute memos, letters, spreadsheets, and forms Upload, sort, process, and archive physical documents to digital systems Leadership Support Provide administrative support to staff and union members Assist with correspondence, reports, and office-wide communications Manage complex schedules and meet changing deadlines Support office operations and special projects as needed Required skills and qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Proven administrative experience Superb written and verbal communication skills Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability Aptitude for learning new software and systems Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 programs Proficient in basic data entry Completion of tasks in timely manner Ability to work well in a team environment Nice-to-Have Previous customer-facing office experience Familiarity with document management or filing systems Ability to handle multiple priorities calmly Why Work With Us? ✓
