PERSONAL ASSISTANT / RIGHT HAND TO FOUNDER
— Ground Floor Opportunity (Part-Time to Full-Time) Company:
Delta Strategic Services Location:
Kalispell, MT (in-person preferred; hybrid possible for the right person) Job Type:
Part-time to start, transitioning to full-time as the business and role grow Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate to start, with a clear path to a full-time salary and expanded responsibilities ABOUT THE ROLE
I'm a founder building something big, and I'm looking for the person who's going to build it with me. Not a task-taker. A right hand. This role starts part-time and is heavy on the personal side — keeping my life, schedule, home, errands, and head organized so I can focus on growing the business. As things scale, the hours scale with it, and the right person will transition into a full-time role with expanding responsibilities. The person who fills this seat will sit next to me as the company grows, learn how every part of it works, and grow into a leadership role over time. If you're the kind of person who wants to be employee #1 at something meaningful and look back in five years proud of what you helped build, keep reading. WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
— THE PERSONAL SIDE
Most of this job, especially in the beginning, is helping me run my life so I can run the business. That includes things like:
Managing my calendar and keeping appointments, meetings, and personal commitments from colliding Reminding me of what's coming up — meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, kids' stuff, deadlines, anything I can't afford to forget Running errands: post office, dry cleaners, grocery runs, picking things up, dropping things off Coordinating personal appointments (doctor, dentist, vehicle service, haircuts, etc.) and making sure I actually get to them Booking travel — flights, hotels, rental cars — and building clean itineraries Handling personal shopping, gift buying for family and friends, holiday and birthday prep Returns, exchanges, warranty claims, and the small annoying stuff that piles up Helping keep the house and office organized — knowing where things are, restocking what runs out, scheduling cleaners or repairs Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and service people for home and property Managing personal email and messages, flagging what matters, replying on my behalf when appropriate Keeping a running list of personal projects and making sure they actually get finished Pet, plant, or property-related errands when needed Bill tracking, subscription cleanup, and basic personal admin Being the person I can text "can you handle this" and trust that it gets done WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
— THE BUSINESS SIDE
As you learn how things work, you'll start helping on the business side too. Sitting in on calls and taking notes. Handling small projects. Communicating with vendors and clients on my behalf. Helping with scheduling, hiring, follow-ups, and the dozens of loose threads that come with running a growing company. Where this ends up depends entirely on you — operations, client management, business development, running a department. The ceiling is wherever you decide it is. WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
The right person is sharp, organized, discreet, and unflappable. You can keep a dozen plates spinning without dropping any. You're comfortable being told something once and then owning it. You write well, communicate clearly, and don't need to be micromanaged. You have good judgment about what matters and what doesn't, and you're not afraid to ask questions when you don't know something. You're trustworthy with personal information — this role comes with a front-row seat to my life and my business, and discretion isn't optional. You're honest, even when it's uncomfortable. You show up early, follow through, and care about doing things well. You're tech-savvy enough to learn new tools quickly — calendars, CRMs, spreadsheets, AI tools, whatever the job needs. You're also someone whose life allows for a part-time role right now but who genuinely wants this to grow into something bigger. Maybe you're between chapters, returning to work, finishing school, or just ready for something more meaningful than the job you're in. Whatever the situation, you're in it to build — not just to fill hours. WHAT YOU DON'T NEED
You don't need a degree. You don't need ten years of experience. You don't need to have been an executive assistant before. If you're hungry, capable, and the right fit personally, the skills can be taught. WHAT I'M OFFERING A
competitive hourly rate to start, with a clear path to full-time and a real salary as the role expands. Flexible hours while we're getting started, so we can fit the schedule to your life and the work that needs doing. Real mentorship — you'll learn business, sales, operations, marketing, and leadership by being in the room. Trust and autonomy as you earn it. And a chance to build something meaningful with a small team that's going somewhere. HOW TO APPLY
Send your resume along with a short note telling me who you are, why this role speaks to you, and what you're hoping to build in the next chapter of your career. I'm reading every response personally. No cover letter templates — just be real. Pay:
