Lake County Job Opening The Lake County Treasurer's Office is accepting applications for: Treasurer's Clerk
QUALIFICATIONS
: Must have a minimum of six months experience in customer service or an office environment. Must be knowledgeable of office practices and procedures; possess the ability to operate a computer, calculator, fax and copy machines, cash register, and telephone; the ability to understand and carry out instructions, establish and maintain cooperative relationships, work efficiently and quickly under stressful conditions, and relate to the public in a courteous manner. Must have good handwriting for clear and accurate documentation.
MUST PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK
in accordance with the Montana Department of Justice.
DUTIES :
Provides essential support to both the Tax and Motor Vehicle departments by performing a variety of financial, clerical, and customer service duties. Processing payments, maintaining accurate records, assisting the public with inquiries and transactions, and preparing reports, forms, and correspondence. The position requires flexibility, as the Clerk will regularly move between the Tax and Motor Vehicle offices, helping to ensure smooth operations, accurate recordkeeping, and excellent customer service across both departments; and perform other duties as assigned.
HOURS/DAYS
: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WAGE :
$17.50/hourly.
