Job Description

Hunter & Company Interior Design is looking for Personal Assistant who will provide organizational, administrative, and personal support to a member of our team. Responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, handling correspondence, preparing documents and presentations, and performing various administrative tasks. In addition, this position will provide the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of working the showroom floor once personal assistant responsibilities are completed. Someone who will succeed in this position requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, often acting as a confidential and trusted point of contact to help maximize productivity. Daily tasks will vary but typically include: (all encompassing business and personal matters)
    Calendar Management:
    scheduling appointments, meetings and events. Reminding employer of appointments daily and tracking billable time.
      Travel Coordination:
      Booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
        Communication Management:
        screening calls, managing emails, taking notes at meetings and during conference calls, and handling correspondence.
          Administrative Support:
          Filing, managing office organization.
          • Helping with
          Household Tasks:
          running errands, shopping, scheduling landscapers, or managing personal tasks for the employer. To be effective, a personal assistant needs:
          • Positively represent the employer and always be professional (on-time, positive attitude, respectful, proactive)
          • Exceptional organizational skills: manage complex schedules and tasks efficiently; prioritizing tasks assigned
          • Strong communication abilities: for clear written and verbal interactions
          • Problem-solving skills: to anticipate needs and resolve issues quickly
          • Discretion and confidentiality: to handle sensitive information with professionalism
          Adaptability:
          to adjust to changing priorities and daily demands
            Intuition:
            to understand the employer's needs and preferences to manage tasks proactively, eventually having the ability to anticipate their employer's needs and adapt quickly
            • Computer savvy and comfortable using Apple products
            • Experience working with Microsoft 365 products (Word, Outlook, and PPT), Design Manager and Asana a plus.
            • Reliable access to a car

            From $19.00 per hour
