Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Office Assistant to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service at the front desk Schedule appointments efficiently using
EAGLESOFT
dental practice management software Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and other health plans, ensuring accurate billing and coding with
CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10
codes Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and attention to detail Handle phone inquiries using multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information management Assist with billing procedures, including dental collection efforts and documentation review for accuracy Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing dental office supplies Experience Prior dental office experience is required Strong knowledge of dental terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and dental billing procedures Experience with insurance verification processes and Medicare documentation is advantageous Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (10 key typing) Proven ability to provide outstanding patient service in a fast-paced healthcare environment Familiarity with dental terminology and clinic experience enhances your fit for this role Requirements Minimum of 2 years of dental front desk experience using Eaglesoft (required) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office Reliable, professional, and team-oriented High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Knowledge of PPO, HMO, Medicare and Medicaid Plans Insurance billing and A/R experience Apply with Resume, Eaglesoft experience required
