Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced R D team working to build the new bio-economy using material science, food-tech and ag-tech. In this part-time role, you will work closely with our team to support various administrative, personal, and lab tasks, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of a technology and research-based business. Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
Perform general administrative tasks, such as managing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling meetings, and coordinating communications.
Lab Support:
Assist with experiments, data collection, and general lab maintenance. Help prepare materials, maintain lab cleanliness, and ensure supplies are stocked.
Bookkeeping Support:
Assist with basic bookkeeping duties, including managing receipts, and supporting expense tracking.
Organization & Facility:
Maintain order and organization in both lab and office spaces. Assist in setting up new equipment and supplies. Work to strengthen Notion organization and record-keeping.
Errands & Personal Tasks:
Occasionally assist with errands or personal tasks to support the CEO, team, and streamline daily operations.
Project Support:
Contribute to projects as needed, providing flexible support across areas like reporting and documentation.
Requirements:
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Strong multitasking ability, with a willingness to take on diverse tasks Positive and easygoing attitude Enthusiasm for working in a start-up environment and contributing to a technology-driven mission for sustainability Excellent communication skills Meticulous note taker Familiarity with Notion, Quickbooks, Gdrive, and Excel preferred
