Job Description

Position Summary:
Sentek Dynamics is seeking an engineering Project Coordinator for our Kannapolis, NC product demonstration, assembly and service facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position requires an organized self-starter with strong customer, vendor and inter-departmental communication skills combined with basic technical and operations knowledge. The Project Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for customer orders, inventory management, logistics, and project execution. This role works closely with the sales, engineering, service, and accounting teams to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, materials are available, and shipments are completed on schedule. The Project Coordinator helps maintain organized project records and supports the successful execution of engineering projects through effective coordination and communication.

Our products include a comprehensive line of vibration testing systems and temperature/humidity chambers designed to meet today's demanding test requirements.
Job Duties:
Order Administration Review customer purchase orders and quotations to verify pricing, quantities, and order requirements. Process customer purchase orders from the sales and service departments and generate confirming sales orders in the MO system. Maintain accurate order records and ensure all required documentation is complete. Track and update order status throughout production and fulfillment. Communicate order status and delivery information to customers and internal teams. Coordinate with accounting department regarding order status, invoicing, and payment milestones. Inventory and Purchasing Monitor parts and finished goods inventory levels. Verify inventory availability to support customer orders and service requirements. Prepare and issue purchase orders to vendors as needed. Source materials and components with attention to cost, quality, and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control activities. Product and Customer Records Maintain installation, warranty, and customer equipment records. Track warranty expiration dates and preventative maintenance schedules. Communicate warranty and maintenance information to customers and the sales and service teams. Shipping and Logistics Coordinate domestic and international shipments with customers, vendors, freight carriers, and customs brokers. Generate shipping documents, packing lists, and shipping labels. Schedule shipments and monitor delivery status. Maintain shipping records and resolve routine shipping issues. Administrative Support Maintain project documentation and electronic records. Assist operation team with project tracking and routine administrative tasks. Support continuous improvement of administrative processes and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Technology, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. One to three years of experience in project coordination, order administration, purchasing, inventory management, customer service, or a related role. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-focused with a commitment to providing timely, high-quality service. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning CRM/ERP software. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred due to communication with international vendors. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components is preferred.
