Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our electrical, plumbing. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and construction terminology, is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and is proficient using Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar) to manage day-to-day office operations. Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries Maintain and organize customer records, job files, and documents in Google Drive Assist with invoicing, estimates, and basic bookkeeping tasks Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, follow-ups, and job status updates Support technicians with job information, materials lists, and documentation Help manage permits, inspections, and related paperwork Track and organize service plans, warranties, and maintenance records Assist with hiring/onboarding paperwork as needed Handle multiple ongoing tasks and shifting priorities throughout the day Qualifications Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and/or construction terminology and processes Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar) Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable speaking with customers and handling scheduling/logistics Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Dependable, punctual, and professional Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in an office/admin role for a trades or home service business Familiarity with field service software (such as Housecall Pro) or CRM systems Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Work Expectations Maintain organized, accurate records and documentation Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, technicians, and management Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and handle interruptions gracefully Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
