Whether it's 500 feet or 500 miles, we get the job done safely, properly, and on time. What You'll Do Retrieves, processes, and submits A/P invoices and supporting documents Verifies documents for purchase order numbers, correct addresses, due dates, amounts, and variances. Answers phones and greets customers and vendors. Set up Job folders, print plans and specifications, set up and maintain digital files. Educate clients of proper payment procedures and provide quality customer service for all internal and external clients. Review and enter all credit card activity. Supports payroll functions, including HR/Safety support. Cross-Train in Project Accounting functions as needed. Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent, 2-year associate in accounting or business preferred. 3 + year experience working in an office setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required. Regular attendance in the office required. Highway or construction office experience preferred. Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures. High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Word.
