Position Summary:
Attends assigned board, committee, and commission meetings ; records minutes through detailed note-taking and audio recordings to support the preparation of official minutes. Prepares and distributes both drafts and final versions of meeting minutes for assigned boards, committees and commissions. Prepares and composes meeting minutes in a timely manner, ensuring all applicable deadlines are consistently met. Supervision Received Works under the general administrative direction of the Lead Recording Secretary, City Clerk and Tax Collector, with direction at times being given by the City Manager, Director of Planning and Development, or the Chairs of the boards and commission.

  • Ensures the accuracy of all drafted minutes by reviewing and correcting grammar, content, and formatting as necessary.
