Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Coe-Brown Northwood Academy is currently accepting applications for the following position: Counseling Secretary / 2026-2027 Academic Year Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, founded in 1867, is a comprehensive secondary institution offering the highest quality curriculum of studies to the residents of Northwood, Strafford, Nottingham, Barrington, Deerfield, and surrounding towns.
Position Overview:
Coe-Brown is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and student-centered individual to serve as the Counseling Office Secretary. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the school counseling department, providing administrative support to the director and counselors while serving as a welcoming point of contact for students, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the director and school counselors Manage counseling office operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls and emails Process student registrations Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality Assist with transcript requests and student documentation Coordinate meetings, events, and testing logistics Process incoming and outgoing correspondence Support data entry and NH State Reporting tasks Collaborate with school staff to support student services and programs
Qualifications:
Prior administrative or office experience, preferably in an educational setting Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to supporting students
