Job Description

Position Overview The Transactions Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Real Estate Legal team and other key stakeholders throughout the new store lifecycle, facilitating all internal and external correspondence while independently overseeing the execution and recording of agreements which serve to preserve Burlington's rights in the public land records. Under the supervision of the Transactions Manager, the Transactions Coordinator will also provide general systems administration support to the RE Legal Department in the tracking and management of internal systems and new store deal lifecycle reporting through store opening. In addition, the Transaction Coordinator may also provide general administrative support to the larger Real Estate Legal Department. A Day in the Life Support the execution, tracking and distribution of lease agreements, amendments, letter agreements, and other legal documents in Docusign, ensures all required approvals are secured and critical RE Legal dates have been documented in Lucernex. Facilitates the execution, notarization and recording of post-execution agreements in the public records such as Memoranda of Lease and Subordination Non-Disturbance and Attornment Agreements. Conducts municipal research to ensure recording compliance and minimize rejections. Coordinates with internal departments to track, file and distribute incoming landlord notices and other project correspondence. Routes landlord post-execution requests (e.g. estoppels, SNDAs, consents) for legal documentation are routed to the appropriate mailboxes and associates Coordinates with corporate legal department to assign project matter numbers in Onbase and facilitates user access to Lucernex in partnership with IT and Real Estate Services Maintains departmental subscription services and vendor invoices related to third party vendors (e.g. Simplifile, CSC, Parlay and title companies). Ensures all invoices are properly submitted, routed, and processed through accounts payable to completion Facilitate on and offsite meetings, including conference room reservations, calendar management, IT support, and catering as needed. Arrange travel and accommodation for attorneys attending conferences and industry events, including the annual ICSC conference; organizes, coordinates and supports approval requests (e.g. expense reports), processing all expenses in Concur for the RE Legal team ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies Provide administrative, operational and project support to the Real Estate Legal team and assist with special projects under the supervision of the Transaction Manager You'll Come With 3+ years experience in an administrative role in a law firm setting or in-house counsel team (real estate experience preferred), or other real estate based business At a minimum, a Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent years of work experience is required. A college degree is preferred.

Licenses/Certification/Registration:

NJ Notary will be required

Compensation Range:

$20.50 - $27.00
