Part Time Office Assistant COSM East Rutherford, NJ Job Details Part-time $20 - $23 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Some college Customer returns handling Courier driving Executive administrative support Mail distribution Driver's License Office experience Full Job Description About the Role COSM is looking for a reliable and flexible Part-Time Office Assistant to directly support our Director of Operations with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This role is behind-the-scenes, with minimal involvement in healthcare operations. It's a great fit for a college student looking for flexible hours and real-world experience supporting business operations. Schedule 12-20 hours per week (exact days/hours flexible) Availability needed sometime within Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM We can work around a class schedule, we just need someone who shows up reliably for their scheduled shifts Responsibilities Duties vary day to day and may include: Sorting and distributing incoming/outgoing mail Processing returns and exchanges Tracking and organizing office supply inventory Stocking supplies across office areas Making phone calls to vendors and outside offices Scheduling and setting up meetings Running errands and general administrative support as needed Miscellaneous tasks as they come up Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (some tasks require driving, e.g., between offices, post office, supply runs) Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate preferred Strong multitasking skills, able to juggle several different tasks in a day Able to work quickly and independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Reliable and responsible, shows up on time and follows through Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule once set Prior office or administrative experience is a plus but not required Must be comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks with varying day to day responsibilities
