Role:
Atlantic Restaurant and Supermarket in Kearny, NJ is looking for a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity to be the backbone of a dynamic food and retail business, keeping operations running smoothly every day. Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence Maintain and organize filing systems, records, and documentation Process invoices, purchase orders, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks Prepare reports, memos, and other business documents as needed Support HR functions such as onboarding paperwork and employee record maintenance
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of administrative or office experience, preferably in a retail or food service environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting Bilingual candidates are a plus
