Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, professional, organized, and tech-savvy Office Assistant to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is making outbound calls to patients and/or their authorized representatives to obtain verbal consent for healthcare services. This position will also assist with a variety of administrative and computer-based office tasks. Responsibilities Make outbound calls to obtain verbal consent Communicate professionally with patients, family members, and authorized representatives Accurately document verbal consents and call outcomes Follow up on unanswered calls and outstanding consent requests Enter and update information in multiple computer systems Scan, upload, download, rename, and organize electronic documents Review records for accuracy and completeness Assist with spreadsheets, reports, emails, and other administrative tasks Navigate multiple programs and browser tabs efficiently Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Assist management with additional office tasks as needed Qualifications Must be tech-savvy and comfortable learning new computer programs Strong computer and data-entry skills Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and web-based applications Able to navigate multiple computer systems efficiently Comfortable troubleshooting basic computer or software issues Strong phone and communication skills Professional and friendly telephone manner Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Able to multitask and switch between different tasks throughout the day Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently Able to learn new processes and systems quickly Previous medical office, healthcare, administrative, or call-center experience is a plus.
