Job Description
Livingston Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month Administrative Assistant for the Department of Special Education and Student Services. The successful candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with parents, administrators, Child Study Team members, teachers, directors, and both building- and district-level leadership. Candidates must demonstrate strong computer proficiency, the ability to learn and utilize various software platforms and data systems, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate initiative in supporting the daily operations and overall efficiency of the department and administrative team. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive administrative support, maintaining accurate records and documentation, coordinating communications, and assisting in the smooth functioning of departmental processes and procedures. All candidates will be required to successfully complete a computer skills assessment. Salary will be determined based upon experience.
