Administrative Assistant - Director of Agronomy (Part-Time)

$20.00-$24.00 per hour Position Overview Forsgate Country Club is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and bilingual Administrative Assistant to support the Director of Agronomy and the Grounds Department . This position is ideal for someone looking for aflexiblepart-time schedule, including parents returning to the workforce, individuals seeking school-hour employment, or professionals looking to supplement their income. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. This role plays an important part in keeping the department organized, supporting daily operations, and helping the team achieve its goals. Typical Schedule 20-25 hours per week Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Schedule flexibility available based on department needs and the candidate's availability. Responsibilities Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate records. Process invoices and assist with Accounts Payable. Review and process employee timecards. Coordinate employee schedules and departmental calendars. Assist with weekly and monthly budget tracking and reporting. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations. Support special projects and departmental initiatives. Communicate with vendors, club departments, and team members. Help maintain employee files and administrative documentation. Assist with onboarding paperwork and other HR-related administrative tasks. Provide general administrative support to the Director of Agronomy. Help coordinate meetings, training sessions, and department communications. Qualifications Previous administrative assistant or office administration experience preferred. Experience with Accounts Payable and payroll/timecard administration preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Professional communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with a bilingual workforce. Experience coordinating staff schedules is a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree is a plus.
