Job Description

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Cardiac Echo lab . Admin assistant will review incoming echo requisitions and assist in triaging the requests according to priority. Helps prepare the next days schedule. Effectively communicates with the team about any schedule changes. Effectivcely communicates via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Principal Accountabilities:
1.Reviews scheduled procedures list and alerts the team to any changes that occurred overnight, ensuring that the appropriate equipment is reassigned as well as the sonographer (skill level matches assignment). 2.Triages all Echo and TEE case requests. 3.Assigns equipment and Sonographer due to capabilities and availability. 4.Effectively communicates with other departments when a shared patient study needs to be completed. 5.Effectively communicates with other departments when an unexpected delay or change in schedule occurs. 6.Ensures that all procedural cases have an assigned echo sonographer to complete the case. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Administration or relevant area. Epic experience Professional and reliable Ability to multi-task and remain focused in dynamic environment
Preferred:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Work experience in inpatient echocardiography lab scheduling including echo related procedures such as TEE. Clinicial experience a plus!
