Part-Time Service Administrator South Plainfield, NJ Monday-Friday | 10:00 AM-2:00 PM (20 Hours per Week) Are you an organized administrative professional who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a detail-oriented Service Administrator to support a busy service department. If you're comfortable working with paperwork, billing, customer service, and Excel—and enjoy learning new systems—we'll provide training on our service billing process. What You'll Do Process daily service invoices accurately and efficiently Assist customers with service-related questions Set up and maintain service contracts Support the day-to-day administrative needs of the service department Maintain organized records and documentation Communicate with customers, field technicians, and internal departments Help keep projects moving by staying organized and anticipating what's needed next What is Service Billing? Don't worry if you've never worked in service billing before—we'll train you! Service billing is the process of turning completed service work into customer invoices. After technicians complete a repair or service call, you'll review their paperwork to ensure labor hours, parts, travel time, and other charges are accurate before creating the customer's invoice. It's an important role that helps ensure customers are billed correctly and the company gets paid promptly.
