About Golda Och Academy:
Golda Och Academy is an independent Jewish day school serving students from Pre-K through Grade 12. We are committed to academic excellence, strong community values, and creating a supportive environment for students, families, and employees.
Position Overview:
Golda Och Academy is seeking an organized and dependable Administration Specialist to support the daily operations of the Upper School office. This position plays an important role in helping the school run smoothly by providing administrative support to the Principal, assisting students and families, and managing a variety of office functions. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a busy school environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Upper School Principal's calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules. Handle all receptionist duties Answer and direct calls received through the Upper School main office. Welcome visitors and assist with sign-in procedures while coordinating with campus security as needed. Support student sign-in and sign-out processes. Maintain the student Chromebook loaner program. Coordinate student locker assignments. Maintain student records and assist with file management and archiving. Digitize student files when students leave the school. Track student detentions and technology-related infractions and maintain associated records. Maintain the test make-up binder and related documentation. Create and update office forms, including timesheets, dismissal forms, and other commonly used documents. Order and restock office supplies, copy paper, coffee supplies, and other office necessities. Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance of office equipment. Maintain the appearance and organization of reception areas, lounges, and shared office spaces. Handle incoming mail and distribute correspondence. Schedule conference room usage and meeting space reservations. Perform general office duties, including copying, scanning, filing, and mailings. Communicate with parents, students, faculty, and staff regarding school procedures and day-to-day information. Provide basic first aid when needed. (E.g. Band-Aids, ice packs, etc.) Serve as backup support for substitute and temporary employee tracking. Provide general administrative support to the Upper School Principal and office team.
Qualifications:
Previous School administrative office experience preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Compensation:
Salary:
$40,000- $50,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
