San Juan College The Role at a glance: We are looking to add a skilled, motivated Catering Coordinator to our collegiate dining team. In this role, you will serve as the primary administrative support for catering operations, coordinating event details, managing catering billing, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and campus partners. You will also assist with general office functions and administrative support as needed. What you'll be doing: Coordinating catering events from inquiry through completion, ensuring accurate event details and client communication. Processing catering billing, including invoice preparation, payment tracking, deposits, and maintaining accurate billing records. Assisting with catering-related administrative duties, reporting, and documentation. Serving as a point of contact for catering clients, answering questions and supporting event planning needs. Answering incoming calls, screening, and directing calls to the appropriate contact or voicemail. Greeting and assisting visitors. Handling administrative tasks related to internal meetings and events, including managing conference room bookings, food and beverage arrangements, and ensuring meeting spaces are prepared. Assisting with administrative tasks related to external meetings and events, including sourcing meeting spaces, coordinating contracts, and arranging food and beverage services. Maintaining office records, files, and organizational systems. Other duties as assigned. What we're looking for:
Must-Haves:
1-2 years of experience in catering, food and beverage, events or related field. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
Nice-to-Haves:
Safe Food Handler's Certification Compensation Range $20-25 an hour
